Year 4 pupils recently discovered the science of sound in a fun and hands-on lesson, using string telephones to explore how vibrations create sound waves.

To launch their special topic, People Who Help Us, the children in Toddlers and Pre-school were thrilled to welcome St Gabriel’s very own Nurse Amy for an exciting and interactive session.

Year 1 pupils have been diving into the fascinating world of magnets this term, and on Tuesday, 28 January, they had a special hands-on learning session—designed and led by none other than our Year 5 pupils!

St Gabriel's is delighted to celebrate the recent success of Year 3 pupil Sophie C, who demonstrated incredible skill and determination at the WKU (Western Karate Union) English Open National Team Qualifiers in Worcester on Sunday, 26 January 2025.

Reception and Year 1 pupils at St Gabriel’s had an exciting joint learning session on Thursday, 23 January, as they celebrated Burns Night and explored the fascinating traditions surrounding Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns.

This week, our Year 7 pupils celebrated the start of their French studies in style with a surprise French-themed brunch in the school library, organized by the Languages Department.

On 22 January, Year 9 pupils embarked on an unforgettable visit to Bletchley Park, the historic site in Bedfordshire that served as the principal Allied codebreaking centre during the Second World War.

This morning’s Junior School assembly celebrated the upcoming Big Garden Birdwatch, which runs from 24th to 26th January 2025.
