St Gabriel’s Theatre was filled with festive sparkle on Monday 8 December as we hosted our very first Winter Festival of Dance — a dazzling lunchtime performance led by our Senior Dance Scholars.

One of St Gabriel’s most cherished festive traditions returned this week as our Senior School tutor groups took part in the annual Christmas Hamper Competition, all in support of the West Berkshire Food Bank.

On Wednesday 3 December, our Year 8 pupils stepped into the magical world of Harry Potter on their much-anticipated annual trip to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – a beloved tradition and a highlight of the Autumn term in Drama.

On Thursday 27 November, our Year 11 pupils enjoyed an exciting A-Level Taster Day, giving them the chance to explore life in the Sixth Form and sample a range of subjects.
We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Year 8 pupil Milly D, who secured 1st place in the U13 category at the Hanger Games Grand Final in Sheffield on Friday 15 November.

We are incredibly proud to share that Year 10 pupil, Aditi, recently travelled to Dublin to compete in the Irish Junior Squash Open on 14 November — one of the key events on the European junior squash circuit.

On Thursday 20 November, our Year 10 to 13 Art and Photography students travelled to London for an inspiring day of creative exploration, taking in one of the most highly anticipated exhibitions of the year: Kerry James Marshall: The Histories at the Royal Academy of Arts.

We are incredibly proud of Liam N (Year 9), who recently returned from Alanya, Turkey, where he represented Great Britain at the European Biathle, Triathle and Laser Run Championships from 3–10 November.
