Excitement was immense across the Nursery and Junior School as World Book Day returned on Thursday 5 March 2026.

Our U13 and U15 athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the District Cross Country Championships, held at Mary Hare School

Our Nursery children recently enjoyed learning about the vibrant Hindu festival of Holi, often known as the Festival of Colours.

We are delighted to celebrate the success of Year 10 pupil, Aditi, who recently competed in the Austrian Junior Squash Open, held in Vienna from 27 February to 1 March 2026.

We are delighted that St Gabriel’s has been awarded Level 1 of the RHS School Gardening Award earlier this month, recognising our commitment to outdoor learning and gardening education.

On Friday 20 February, we were delighted to welcome Nursery and Reception families to our Early Years Coffee Morning, held in our on-site café, Gabbies.

On Tuesday 24 February, our Nursery children were treated to a truly memorable and hands-on learning experience, as we welcomed a very special visitor to St Gabriel’s — Buttercup the cow!

On Tuesday 17 February, St Gabriel’s Nursery was filled with the joyful sounds of music as our children enjoyed yet another series of special musical visits from members of our school community.

On Friday 13 February, our Year 8 pupils treated the Junior School to a wonderfully entertaining pop-up play, bringing a touch of Valentine’s fun and creativity to the end of term.

On Friday 13 February, pupils from Year 2 to Year 6 took to the stage to share the results of their hard work as part of the Junior Instrumental Project. Families and staff gathered to enjoy a lively and uplifting performance, celebrating the pupils’ musical progress and growing confidence.
