Term may be over but there is still time to savour some of the work Y10 GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition students have been doing in designing and making dishes for groups with special dietary needs. Some standout creations include this high fibre, 'jewelled' pearl barley and gluten free birthday cake.
Mr Smith's Senior School assembly yesterday was based on the Aesop's Fable on 'The Crow/Raven and the Pitcher', encouraging pupils to persevere and the significance of incremental improvement. Whilst Mrs Chapman was enjoying the splendour of the Oval Room, in her Y7 & 8 assembly on Teams this morning, stressing the importance of well being and time away from screens over the summer.
