Fifteen of our Year 8 pupils recently took part in the Hampshire Book Awards, an inspiring celebration of reading organised by the Hampshire Schools Library Service.

Year 6 brought the Junior School stage to life this week with a show-stopping performance of the much-loved musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, marking the end of their Junior School journey in true St Gabriel’s style.

Congratulations to Year 9 student Liam and Year 7 student Declan, along with Sophie, who will be joining St Gabriel's in Year 7 this September, on their outstanding performances at the recent European Biathle, Triathle and Laser Run Championships in Madeira.
After being rescheduled twice due to wet weather, it was third time lucky for this year’s Junior School Sports Day, held on Friday 19 June.

On Saturday 20 June, the St Gabriel’s community came together for one of the highlights of our summer calendar — The Big Bash.
Year 7 pupil Declan O’C has enjoyed an outstanding season in sport, achieving success both on the track and in multi‑discipline events outside of school.

On Thursday 18 June, St Gabriel’s welcomed pupils across the school to our annual ‘Move Up’ Day, a much‑loved event that gives every child the chance to experience a taster of the year ahead.

Year 9 pupil Liam N has enjoyed an exceptional few weeks of competition, taking part in the national trials for the World Championships in Laser Run, Biathle and Triathle.

St Gabriel’s proudly hosted the Annual U13 Schools Tennis Tournament on Monday 15 June at Manydown Tennis Club, Basingstoke.

Year 1 enjoyed a wonderful day in Newbury last week, as they set out to learn more about their local area through hands‑on activities, exploration and plenty of curiosity.

Year 9 pupils showed impressive determination and teamwork as they successfully completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expedition over the weekend of 13 June.

Year 10 pupils enjoyed an inspiring and immersive introduction to Sixth Form life on Friday 12 June, taking part in a full day of subject exploration, enrichment and future‑focused learning.
