Year 6 pupils had an unforgettable afternoon on Thursday 7 May when Ashli Young and his team from Newbury Skate School visited St Gabriel’s for a special taster session.

We are delighted to share an exciting update on Year 8 pupil Milly’s climbing achievements, as she continues to make remarkable progress in both regional and national competitions.
On Tuesday 28 April, our excited Year 3 pupils hopped onto the minibuses for a much‑anticipated visit to The Living Rainforest — the closest we’ll get to experiencing a real rainforest in Berkshire, with more than 850 species of plants and animals under one roof.

We are thrilled to announce that Year 10 pupil Lyra has been selected to join the Wycombe Wanderers U16 team, marking an exciting milestone in her footballing journey.

On Tuesday 5 May, our Nursery and Reception children enjoyed a wonderful morning of imaginative play as the Pop Up Play Village returned to St Gabriel’s.

St Gabriel’s Senior pupils have showcased some exceptional musical talent over the past week, with two vibrant performance opportunities bringing our school community together in celebration of creativity and confidence.

Year 4 pupils at St Gabriel’s have once again impressed us with their remarkable model Tudor houses, created as part of their History learning on the Tudor period.

We are delighted to announce that St Gabriel’s Nursery has been awarded a DayNurseries Top 20 Award for 2026, placing us among the Top 20 Nurseries in the South East of England.

From 24–26 April, our Year 8 and 9 pupils took part in a powerful and immersive Battlefields trip to Belgium, led by the expert guides from Zeitgeist Tour Company.
