On Tuesday 11 November, our Year 10 and Year 11 Food and Nutrition pupils enjoyed a deliciously memorable trip to Chocolate Craft in Old Alresford, Hampshire.

We are delighted to share that Hannah E, who completed her GCSEs with us last summer, has been longlisted for the GSA National Photography Award in the Years 10–13 category — a remarkable achievement that reflects her talent, creativity and dedication to her craft.

On Tuesday 4 November, our Year 7 pupils took part in one of the most anticipated highlights of the autumn term — ‘Play in a Day’, an immersive Drama and Dance project that challenges each class to create, rehearse and perform a complete production in just one day!

A group of adventurous St Gabriel’s students are already gearing up for the experience of a lifetime, as preparations begin for the World Challenge Expedition to Malaysia in Summer 2027.
Congratulations to Year 10 pupil, Aditi, who triumphed at the Junior Nordic Open Squash Championships in Malmö, Sweden, held from 3–5 October.

On Thursday 2 October, Year 7 pupils set off for an inspiring day at Windsor Castle, immersing themselves in one of the most iconic landmarks in British history.

On Tuesday 23 September, Year 8 pupils travelled to Oxford to visit the Pitt Rivers Museum and the neighbouring Natural History Museum, enjoying a day full of discovery, creativity and inspiration.

On Monday 23 September, a group of St Gabriel’s pupils from Years 10–13 attended the inaugural Classics and Latin Conference at Wycombe Abbey.
On 18 September, Year 9 pupils embarked on the much-loved French and Classics trip to Parc Astérix — a tradition at St Gabriel’s for over 13 years.

As part of their Activity Days, Year 8 pupils enjoyed a fantastic day trip to the historic city of Bath on Friday 27 June. Renowned for its Roman heritage and Georgian architecture, Bath offered the perfect setting for a day of culture, history, and fun to round off the term.
