Throughout the day, pupils explored a variety of interactive exhibits and immersive experiences, learning about the rich history of chocolate – from its ancient origins to its evolution into the much-loved treat we know today. The tour combined sensory delight with hands-on learning, offering plenty of opportunities to sample sweet treats along the way.

A highlight of the visit was the chocolate workshop, where students rolled up their sleeves for a creative – and delightfully messy – session on tempering and decorating chocolate. It was a chance not only to get sticky but also to understand the science and skill behind chocolate making.

The trip was a fantastic blend of fun and education, and we’re sure it will remain one of the standout memories of the year for our Year 7 pupils.
