Our Y6 netball team had previously won the IAPS Regional Finals and have spent today at Epsom College competing in the National Finals. Although they lost 7-6 in a nail biting plate quarter final, we are so proud of these girls! They leave as one of the top 16 teams in the country for their age, out of 229 entries.
Our Y13 biologists have completed all their practical assessments in our newly refurbished labs and in the words of Mrs Porter "It's a wrap! It has been such a pleasure and privilege to assist these confident and capable young biologists to develop their practical skills and achieve their practical endorsement for A level biology". We look forward to hearing all about their careers after university in the world of medicine and science in the years to come.
Year 1 had lots of fun learning more about the geography and history of our local area through visiting Donnington Castle. As the children all ran up to the top of the hill and down again we trust they all slept very well last night! Thank you to Carter Jonas for their hospitality, 'meeting' around their boardroom table was definitely a new learning experience too!
Silver medals at the West Berkshire girls football competition for our team from year 5/6. Well done to all involved

A superb assembly this morning by 9S on how social media affects teenage girls, was rounded off with a fantastic rap from Izzy with lines such as 'social media can get you down but don't be a snapchat clown' https://t.co/UkskLuP3xE
