Senior School Christmas Hamper Competition Brings Festive Creativity — and Community Spirit — to St Gabriel’s

One of St Gabriel’s most cherished festive traditions returned this week as our Senior School tutor groups took part in the annual Christmas Hamper Competition, all in support of the West Berkshire Food Bank.

Each tutor group was challenged to design and assemble a hamper filled with donations, while also transforming their box into a spectacular festive creation. As always, our pupils rose to the challenge with imagination and enthusiasm. From snowmen and gingerbread houses to nativity scenes, Christmas tree displays, the Polar Express and beautifully hand-crafted wool decorations, the standard of creativity was higher than ever.

Judging was no easy task for Mrs Hammons and Mrs Weight, but the winners have been decided and will be announced at the end of term assembly on Friday!

Every hamper created has now been collected by the West Berkshire Food Bank, where they will help bring comfort and joy to families across our community this Christmas.

St Gabriel’s is proud to support such an important local cause and extends warm festive wishes to everyone across West Berkshire.
