Year 9’s Liam has enjoyed a remarkable series of results across three Modern Pentathlon‑related disciplines. After completing a Biathle consideration event last weekend — which he won convincingly — Liam went on to secure victories in both the Laser Run and Triathle trials, also helping his teams to Gold in each. These performances place him as British number one in all three U15 boys’ events and put him in line for an A‑Team relay place.

Year 7’s Declan also impressed with a superbly consistent set of results, finishing second in the U13 category across all three disciplines. His determination and focus across such a demanding programme are hugely commendable.

We are equally proud of Sophie (Liam's sister), who will be joining St Gabriel’s in September. Despite narrowly missing out on Laser Run selection after a difficult shoot, she finished 7th in Triathle, securing her place for the European Championships.

The European competitions run from the final week of term into the summer holidays, and we are incredibly proud of all three athletes for their dedication, resilience and outstanding achievements.
