Former St Gabriel’s Pupil Longlisted for National Photography Award

We are delighted to share that Hannah E, who completed her GCSEs with us last summer, has been longlisted for the GSA National Photography Award in the Years 10–13 category — a remarkable achievement that reflects her talent, creativity and dedication to her craft.

Hannah’s shortlisted work is a striking triptych, showcasing a bold use of colour, thoughtful composition and highly imaginative digital editing techniques. The piece demonstrates not only technical skill, but also a powerful sense of mood and visual storytelling. It is a captivating and memorable artwork that made a lasting impression on the judging panel.

The GSA (Girls' Schools Association) National Photography Competition attracts entries from talented young photographers across the country, making this recognition particularly significant. To be longlisted among such high-calibre work is a testament to Hannah’s artistic vision and the hard work she invested throughout her GCSE Photography course.

We are incredibly proud of Hannah and all she has achieved. We look forward to seeing her continue to explore her creative voice and flourish in her future artistic endeavours.

Congratulations, Hannah — this is truly well deserved.
