Pre-School Enjoys Special Storytime Visits from Senior Staff
Our Pre-School children were treated to a very special literary visit this week as Mr Dove, Head of Juniors, and Mr Smith, Principal of St Gabriel’s, came to read to the group.
Mr Dove captivated the children with The Smeds and The Smoods by Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler, as well as the hilarious It Wasn’t Me. Mr Smith joined in the fun reading Superworm and Spinderella, bringing the stories to life with his animated storytelling.
The children were enthralled by the colourful tales, enjoying the chance to listen to their favourite characters and engage with the stories. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate a love of reading, while giving our youngest learners a taste of the vibrant school community around them.
