Earlier this month, he won gold in the U13 Long Jump at the ISA National Athletics Championships — a performance that reflected the commitment and consistency he has shown throughout the year.

Declan has also recently been selected to represent Great Britain in six races at the European Championships in Madeira this month, with a further six races at the World Championships in October. His selections follow a series of strong performances across multiple disciplines, and he is currently ranked 2nd in Great Britain in Biathle, Triathle and Laser Run. These results reflect the hard work he has put into training alongside his school commitments.

In addition to his international representation, Declan has been chosen to compete for the South East at the Inter Counties Championships in August, where he will take part in the 80m Hurdles. This selection is another achievement he is rightly proud of.
