Y4 at Ufton Court

Year 4 had an amazing learning experience on their visit to Ufton Court as part of their study of the Tudors.  The children enjoyed the chance to do jobs such as spinning yarn, grinding flour and making willow fences. They also found it great fun to play Tudor games and learn about Tudor courts, their crimes and punishments.

Several of us were placed in the stocks, and one of us was burnt to death! - Anastasia.

We wove a really strong willow fence - Stijn

My favourite game was the quoits, and we had a tournament during lunchtime - Isabelle

It was fun experiencing what it was like to be in court and the punishments felt really real! - Elsie
