St Gabriel’s Celebrates Year 13 A Level Successes

St Gabriel’s is delighted to celebrate the achievements of our Year 13 students as they receive their A Level results today, marking the culmination of years of dedication, resilience, and personal growth.

Once again, our results highlight the breadth of talent and ambition within our Sixth Form. Over 43% of all Science A-Level grades were awarded at A*–A, with outstanding success in creative subjects — 66% of Textiles and Art grades were at A*–A. Modern Languages achieved 100% at A*–B, while 78% of History grades reached A*–B. Across all subjects, 78% of grades were A*–C.

Huge congratulations to Sareena Rogers, whose exceptional results confirm her place to study Medicine at the University of Bristol — a remarkable achievement reflecting her hard work and commitment.

This year’s leavers are heading along an impressive and varied range of pathways, testament to their hard work and to St Gabriel’s ethos given the time, encouragement, and opportunities to follow their passions — whether that means medicine, textiles, or musical theatre.

Amongst the stand-out destinations: Olivia Violet, whose exceptional creative flair will see her study Textiles at Nottingham Trent University; Head Girl Charlotte Hamilton, who has secured her place to study Musical Theatre at the University of West London; Deputy Head Girl Ismay Gallup, who will be starting her Human and Social Sciences degree at Cardiff University; Maddy Herd and Millie Jones who both secured their first choice places to study at the University of Warwick (Maddy to read Psychology and Millie to study Modern Languages); and Olivia Stone, who will embark on a Fashion Marketing degree at the University of the Arts London in September 2026 after an exciting gap year travelling.

Commenting on the results, Principal Ricki Smith said:

“At St Gabriel’s, we believe success is deeply personal — it is measured not just by grades, but by the ambition, determination, and individuality of each pupil. Today, we celebrate every student’s journey and the futures they are now ready to embrace. These results are the product of hard work from pupils, unwavering support from families, and the dedication of our exceptional staff. We are incredibly proud of them all.”

Our Year 13 leavers now take their next steps into a wide range of exciting futures — from top university courses and specialist creative degrees to travel, exploration, and emerging career opportunities. We congratulate them all and wish them every success in the years ahead.
