The fun began with a sweepstake, where each child picked a country from a bowl. The lucky winner whose country came first – Norway – proudly received a gold medal to take home, while the other children made their own silver medals to celebrate their achievements. Staff also joined in, making the event even more memorable!

The children then enjoyed a range of themed Olympic activities. They “bobsledded” around the room in a wheelie box, tried their hand at curling using spoons and frozen ice cubes, “snowboarded” by painting tracks in salt, and even enjoyed figure skating by pushing Happy Land people frozen in ice blocks across play trays. Each child also had the chance to make their own medals, practicing their creative skills and celebrating teamwork.

It was a month of creativity and sporty fun – a perfect way for the little ones to explore movement, coordination, and imagination.
