Aditi Storms to Victory at Luxembourg Junior Squash Open

We are thrilled to share the news that Aditi (Year 9) has won the Girls’ U15 title at the Luxembourg Junior Squash Open, held from 2 to 4 May 2025 at the CK Sportcenter in Kockelscheuer.
Aditi, who entered the competition as the top seed, delivered a dominant performance throughout the tournament, winning every match without dropping a single game — a truly outstanding achievement in a highly competitive field. The Girls’ U15 category featured eight talented players, with 85 entries in total across the tournament.
Ranked 5th in England and 15th in Europe in the Girls’ U15 category, Aditi continues to rise through the ranks with impressive consistency. Despite the mutual exclusivity of the domestic and European rankings — as few players compete regularly in both — Aditi’s presence in the top tiers of each speaks volumes about her dedication and talent.
Her success is backed by an incredibly rigorous training schedule. Aditi trains or plays squash nearly every day of the week, including two training sessions with Alex Phillips in Winchester, one with Ben Rossec in Abingdon, and additional practice sessions with her father — who proudly admits he can no longer keep up! She also competes for three clubs in their county leagues — Aldermaston, Winchester, and Abingdon — and plays in junior tournaments, adult graded events, and the Abingdon internal box leagues.
We’re incredibly proud of Aditi’s continued commitment, discipline, and sportsmanship, and we look forward to seeing where her squash journey takes her next. Congratulations, Aditi!
