While the main school had already broken up for the holidays, St Gabriel’s Nursery was still buzzing with festive excitement on Monday 15 December as children and staff came together for their much-loved Christmas Lunch.

On Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 December, families were warmly welcomed to St Gabriel’s for this year’s KS1 Nativity production, A Miracle in Town, a charming retelling of the Christmas story by Niki Davies.

On Wednesday 10 December, the St Gabriel’s community gathered in the Sports Hall for our Senior Carol Service — an atmospheric and uplifting celebration that brought pupils, staff and families together for an evening of music, readings and seasonal reflection.

As the Autumn Term draws to a close, St Gabriel’s looks back on an exceptionally vibrant and rewarding few months — a term rich in learning, creativity, community spirit and joyful celebration.

St Gabriel’s was awash with festive colour on Thursday 11 December as pupils from Juniors to Sixth Form — along with staff — proudly pulled on their Christmas jumpers in support of Daisy’s Dream.

The Senior School embraced festive fitness once again on Thursday 11 December, as students took to the grounds for our much-loved Senior Christmas Fun Run.

On Thursday 11 December, the Senior School gathered for one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year — the annual House Performance Competition.

On Tuesday 2 December, our Year 11 Geography pupils travelled to Bristol to carry out vital human geography fieldwork as part of their GCSE studies.

On Friday 6 December, the St Gabriel’s Theatre was buzzing with festive excitement as our Year 10 Business Studies pupils hosted their first Christmas Market.
We are delighted to congratulate Year 8 pupil Milly D, who has earned a coveted place on the England Climbing Development Squad following an impressive performance at the national trials held at 270 Climbing Park in Gloucester on 6–7 December.
