Strong Performance from Liam at the British Schools Biathle Championships
Year 9 pupil Liam N delivered an impressive performance at the British Schools Biathle Championships last weekend, despite carrying a back issue that has affected his training in recent weeks.
Competing in a combined race of Year 9, 10 and 11 boys and girls, Liam showed determination from the start, staying with the leading pack for as long as he could. As the pace increased, he eventually lost some ground on the front pair — but continued to push hard, showing real grit and competitive spirit.
Liam crossed the line 3rd overall and finished 2nd in the Year 9 category, an excellent achievement given the circumstances and the strength of the field.
