Nursery Families Enjoy Special Stay and Play Celebrations

During the week of 16 March, St Gabriel's Nursery was delighted to host a series of special Mother’s Day Stay and Play afternoons, welcoming mums and grandmothers into the Nursery for a truly memorable experience.
Across three lovely afternoons, families were invited to join the children for a relaxed afternoon tea in their rooms, complete with a delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes. Afterwards, visitors enjoyed spending time both indoors and outdoors, joining in with play and exploring the Nursery environment alongside the children.
These treasured sessions give children a wonderful opportunity to proudly show their families their favourite toys, learning spaces, and introduce them to their friends. The excitement was shared by all, as not only those with visitors, but all of our babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers delighted in welcoming guests into their space and enjoying an extra special playtime together.
Our Nursery Stay and Play sessions are a much-loved feature for families, offering a valuable glimpse into daily life at Nursery. As one parent shared:
“It was so lovely to see the children so happy and confident in their environment. Being able to share in their play, meet the staff, and connect with other families made it really special.”
We would like to thank all the mums and grandmothers who joined us for these heartwarming afternoons. We look forward to welcoming families again at our next Nursery event – the Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday.
