First Ever St Gabriel’s PTA Colour Run Brings the Community Together

On Saturday 27 September, St Gabriel’s hosted its first ever PTA Colour Run — and what a spectacular success it was!
Despite the grey skies, more than 200 pupils, parents, staff, and friends arrived buzzing with energy and ready for action. The morning began with an impressive group warm-up before participants set off around the school grounds. Dressed in white T-shirts, runners were met with bursts of brightly coloured powder along the route, ensuring no one crossed the finish line without a smile (and a splash of colour!).
The run finished with refreshments served on the back lawn, where the celebrations continued. It was an event full of laughter, energy, and fun, perfectly capturing the spirit of our St Gabriel’s community.
We extend a huge thank you to Robyn Hedger and the entire PTA Committee for their vision and hard work in organising the event, and to the many volunteers who helped on the day.
The Colour Run was a wonderful way to bring our community together, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
