The tables were groaning under the weight of an incredible spread: from flapjacks and tiffin traybakes to fairy cakes, rice crispy cakes, muffins, cookies, and buttery shortbread. There were also some truly eye-catching bakes, including decadent fruit-filled meringues and the show-stopping “pigs in mud” chocolate cake, which was auctioned off to parents and raised an impressive £200 on its own!

Thanks to the generosity of our school community, this year’s sale raised a record-breaking £1,340.01 — beating last year’s total by more than £200.

A huge “Thank You” goes to everyone who contributed, from the bakers and buyers to the staff and pupils who helped sell and supervise. Every slice, square, and crumb went towards a truly worthwhile cause.

Charity calories may not count, but the donations certainly do — and we are so proud to support Macmillan Cancer Support in their vital work.
