A Splash of Success: Year 6 Dazzle in The Little Mermaid
The stage was awash with colour, music, and magic as Year 6 took to the spotlight for their much-anticipated annual production—this year, a sparkling rendition of Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
Performed during the week commencing 22 June, the show delighted audiences across three performances, including one for the entire Junior School and two evening shows for parents and families.
Every member of Year 6 played a vital role in bringing the beloved underwater tale to life. With weeks of dedicated rehearsal behind them, the pupils threw themselves into their characters with confidence, energy and humour—capturing the hearts of their audiences with every line and lyric.
The production was nothing short of spectacular. From dazzling costumes and imaginative set design (complete with a real boat on stage!) to choreographed musical numbers, the show was a joyful celebration of the pupils’ talent and teamwork. The enthusiasm and pride radiating from the cast made clear that this was not only a performance—it was a true milestone moment for the pupils.
Huge congratulations to the entire Year 6 cast and crew for their fantastic efforts, and thank you to the staff who supported them along the way. This was a production filled with laughter, music, and unforgettable memories—one that will surely be talked about for years to come.
