Sixth Form Launches the Year with Boundless Outdoors Trip

On Monday 1 September, our Year 12 and Year 13 students set off for the Malverns to enjoy two action-packed days at the Boundless Outdoors activity centre.

This much-loved annual trip takes place before the start of each academic year and is designed to help the Sixth Form bond as a community. It provides a fantastic opportunity for Year 12 and Year 13 to get to know one another, for friendships to form across year groups, and for new joiners to feel instantly part of life at St Gabriel’s.

Students threw themselves into a wide range of activities, including climbing, abseiling, and a hike along the stunning Malvern Ridgeway. Team challenges added to the sense of camaraderie — none more so than the tricky task of transporting jugs of water across an assault course without spilling a drop!

The overnight stay proved to be a brilliant ice-breaker and a fun, memorable way to kick-start their 'Two Big Years'  in the St Gabriel’s Sixth Form.
