It was a truly special occasion, with all the children from the Baby, Toddler and Pre-School rooms gathering in one space to enjoy the celebrations together. Festive magic was in the air as Father Christmas made a surprise appearance — looking remarkably like Leon, our Catering Manager — to deliver a delicious seasonal feast.

Wearing homemade party hats, the children tucked into a traditional roast turkey lunch with all the trimmings, accompanied by cheerful Christmas music. The meal was rounded off perfectly with homemade festive shortbread, enjoyed by all.

The lunch provided excellent fuel for our Pre-School children, who are busy rehearsing for their upcoming Nativity performance on Thursday — an event we are very much looking forward to sharing soon.

It was a joyful and heart-warming afternoon, capturing the magic, togetherness and excitement of Christmas at St Gabriel’s Nursery.
