From Wednesday 21 to Friday 23 May, our Year 5 pupils channelled their inner Bear Grylls and went wild for a two-night residential with the Bushcraft Company! Camping in woodland bell tents, pupils embraced the great outdoors with enthusiasm and resilience. From campfire safety sessions and cooking their own delicious burgers and wood-fired pizzas, to camo training, knife skills, and wilderness first aid (including responding to a dramatic 'helicopter crash' in the woods!), it was a true survival experience. They built shelters, played campfire games, and ended their evenings around the fire with toasted s’mores and big smiles.
