Junior Lunchtime Concert Celebrates Music

On Thursday 12 March, the Oval Room was filled with music as 18 pupils from across the Junior School took part in the latest Junior Lunchtime Concert, performing to an appreciative audience of parents and peers.
These informal concerts are a wonderful opportunity for pupils to showcase their musical progress, while also gaining valuable experience performing in front of a live audience. For many young musicians, stepping onto the stage provides an important confidence boost and helps nurture their love of music.
The programme featured an impressive variety of musical styles and instruments, ranging from Mozart to songs from The Wizard of Oz. Performances included singing, piano, flute, saxophone, cello, guitar and recorder, highlighting the breadth of musical talent within the Junior School.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable occasion and a lovely celebration of the pupils’ enthusiasm and dedication to their music. Well done to all who performed.
