Christmas Jumper Day for Daisy's Dream

St Gabriel’s was awash with festive colour on Thursday 11 December as pupils from Juniors to Sixth Form — along with staff — proudly pulled on their Christmas jumpers in support of Daisy’s Dream.

From sparkling snowmen to jingling reindeer knits, the school was filled with warmth, fun and plenty of seasonal spirit.

While the day is always a highlight of our festive calendar, its purpose is deeply meaningful. Each year, Daisy’s Dream supports around 500 children and young people coping with bereavement. Their professionally qualified Therapeutic Practitioners provide essential guidance and emotional support to families facing the loss of a loved one — work that is especially significant during the Christmas season.

We are incredibly proud to support such an important charity. If you have not yet made your Christmas Jumper Day donation, there is still time. Contributions can be made via our JustGiving page:

While all donations are warmly appreciated, we suggest £2 per participant.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has taken part and donated so far. Your generosity helps bring comfort and hope to children when they need it most — and your festive knitwear certainly brightened our day!
