This year’s results reflect the breadth of academic talent within our Sixth Form, with strong outcomes across a wide range of subjects and particularly notable performances in the humanities and creative arts. Overall, 89% of A Level grades were awarded at A–C*, reflecting the hard work and commitment of our pupils and the support of their teachers and families.

Among the subject highlights, 66% of English Literature grades were awarded at A–A, with 83% at A–B**, while Spanish achieved an outstanding 100% A grades*. Politics achieved 100% A–B*, while Business saw 80% of grades awarded at A–B*. There were also excellent results in Photography, Graphics and Maths, demonstrating the breadth of achievement across the Sixth Form.

Most importantly, these results have enabled our pupils to secure places on a wide range of their chosen higher education courses, reflecting their individual ambitions, interests and talents.

Among the many successes, Anna Brentnall will go on to study Graphic Design at Loughborough University, Josie Gorbold will study Modern Languages at the University of Southampton, Mia Wright will study History at the University of Exeter, and Alice Tarter Da Silveira Lima has secured a place to study Physics at King’s College London. Other pupils will progress to a diverse range of university courses and pathways, including Chemistry at the University of Bristol and Fashion Design at Bath Spa University.

"Today is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our Year 13 pupils and everything they have achieved during their time at St Gabriel's. We are incredibly proud of the academic outcomes they have secured, but equally proud of the grounded, confident and well-rounded young adults they have become.

"Success looks different for every individual, and what matters most is that our pupils have worked hard to achieve their very best and have secured the outcomes they need to pursue the paths they have chosen. They have balanced their academic studies with the many opportunities and experiences that Sixth Form life at St Gabriel's offers, and today we are delighted to see that hard work rewarded."

St Gabriel's Year 13 are now embarking on an exciting range of individual journeys. The school is immensely proud of the achievements of every student and looks forward to seeing all that they go on to accomplish.
