Sporting Success for Year 7 Pupil

We are delighted to celebrate the recent sporting achievements of one of our Year 7 pupils, who has enjoyed an exceptional weekend of competition across both swimming and biathle.
Competing at the Bracknell and Wokingham Regional Qualifiers in Aldershot, Declan took part in four swimming events and delivered an outstanding performance, achieving personal best times in every race. His efforts were rewarded with an impressive three gold medals and one silver, as well as reaching the regional qualifying standard. Selection for the next stage is dependent on national rankings, and we look forward to hearing further updates.
The same weekend, he travelled to Bath to represent the school at the National Schools Biathle Championships. Once again, he performed superbly, achieving two further personal bests. In the final, he placed 3rd in the swimming section and 9th overall in the 800m run, with his combined results earning him an excellent 5th place overall.
This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to his dedication, hard work, and commitment to his sport. We look forward to following Declan's continued progress and wish him the very best of luck with the regional selection.
