Junior Pupils Take on the Knight Frank Schools Triathlon

Five St Gabriel’s Junior pupils took on an impressive challenge on Sunday 17 May, completing the Knight Frank Schools Triathlon at Marlborough College — the UK’s largest sporting fundraising event for children aged 7–13.

Mimi, Annabelle, Suki, Emma and Nicole each completed a 50m swim, 1000m cycle and 750m run, showing determination, teamwork and plenty of enthusiasm throughout the event. Their efforts helped raise around £370 for Restless Development, a youth‑led international development charity supported by the triathlon series.

The Knight Frank Schools Triathlon invites children to take part in teams of four, choosing a fun team name and fundraising together before completing the three disciplines in a relay format. Each participant swims, cycles and runs before joining their teammates to cross the finish line as a group — with all abilities warmly welcomed.

Our pupils embraced every part of the experience and were full of smiles at the finish line. All five have already said they would love to return next year, a testament to the confidence and enjoyment they gained from taking part.

This event is all about taking part, supporting others, and giving back to the wider community, and we are incredibly proud of the way our pupils represented St Gabriel’s.

A huge well done to Mimi, Annabelle, Suki, Emma and Nicole — fantastic ambassadors for our school.
