Sophie delivered an exceptional performance throughout the competition. After winning her semi‑final, she headed straight into a demanding two‑round final against a highly skilled opponent. The match was closely fought from start to finish, with both athletes pushing each other all the way.

When the final went to extra time, Sophie showed remarkable determination and focus, stepping up a gear to secure a decisive victory with an impressive eight‑point margin.

This achievement marks her strongest performance to date and has earned her qualification for a second World Championships, due to take place in Madrid. Whether or not she chooses to compete, qualifying alone is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to her hard work, resilience and talent.
