Reception Pupils Pay a Visit to the Principal
Our new Reception pupils have been busy getting to know St Gabriel’s as they settle into school life, and this week they had a particularly important appointment – a visit to see Principal Mr Ricki Smith in his office.
The children enjoyed exploring the Principal’s office, chatting with Mr Smith and finding out a little more about his role at St Gabriel’s. Of course, no visit would have been complete without the opportunity to try out the Principal’s chair for themselves, with several pupils looking very much at home behind his desk!
These early weeks are full of new experiences for our Reception children as they become familiar with the people and places that make up their school community. It has been wonderful to see them growing in confidence, making new friendships and beginning to make St Gabriel’s their own.
