Over the May bank holiday, 12 girls from Year 11 and 12 went down to the New Forest for the ‘qualifying venture’ of their Silver DofE award. They walked for more than 40km over 3 days and camped for 2 nights. The weather was fine and the girls stayed on course throughout. At the end, they were tired but happy. Colette in Year 11 said “I think the whole experience was pretty much perfect. I really enjoyed it!”

Visitors to St Gabriel's quickly recognise that this is no ordinary school. Parents are always impressed by the sense of purpose and enthusiasm of the talented, committed staff and the confidence of the extremely happy pupils. We offer girls the opportunity for a seamless journey from Nursery through to Sixth Form, with our boys leaving us at the at the age of 11 for their senior schools.
