Marvellous Amount for Macmillan

The whole school enjoyed baking and eating for our cake sale in aid of  Macmillan. This report from a Year 4 pupil summarises the day:

On Friday 30 September we had a cake sale for Macmillan Cancer support. The sale was on the front field and we had lots and lots of different cakes. Macmillan Cancer support is a charity that helps people with cancer not face their illness alone.  School Council worked very hard to organise the sale in just a week.  They made posters and encouraged everyone in the school to bring in cakes. The Junior School teachers also had a bake off.  It was so much fun.
Thank you to everyone who donated cakes and bought them on the day. A total of £967.94 was raised.

Further photos from the day can be seen in our gallery.

Visitors to St Gabriel's quickly recognise that this is no ordinary school. Parents are always impressed by the sense of purpose and enthusiasm of the talented, committed staff and the confidence of the extremely happy pupils. We offer girls the opportunity for a seamless journey from Nursery through to Sixth Form, with our boys leaving us at the age of 11 for their senior schools.
