To complete their Gold Cookery Award in Food, each Y9 girl on this rotation selected a dish from around the world to make in the lesson. The room was a hive of activity and the range of recipes and skills on show was incredible; from glorious seafood paella, exotic sweet and sour chicken to indulgent profiteroles and intricate strawberry tarts.
The girls finished off the lesson presenting their dish to the class and the table, laden with delicious treats, looked fit for a banquet.
