Our Aims

Provide a safe, caring environment which is aesthetically pleasing and which stimulates and motivates

Give children their daily entitlement to skills, set to a recognised high level, through spiritual and emotional, moral and social, creative, practical and physical activities

Promote positive lifestyle choices and general wellbeing through discussion and exploration of health issues and related topics

Acknowledge a child's right to basic numeracy and literacy whilst developing their ability to approach new learning with confidence and excitement

Provide children with a clear structure of learning and clear expectations of standards in work and behaviour, reinforced by all staff and supported from home

Welcome children and their families, regardless of their faith, and provide an education based on tolerance and caring for others

When children leave Sandleford they know how to work with their friends, recognising the importance of sharing and helping.  They are already familiar with the use of technology in learning and they are excited about the challenges that await them in the Junior School.

Visitors to St Gabriel's quickly recognise that this is no ordinary school. Parents are always impressed by the sense of purpose and enthusiasm of the talented, committed staff and the confidence of the extremely happy pupils. We offer girls the opportunity for a seamless journey from Nursery through to Sixth Form, with our boys leaving us at the age of 11 for their senior schools.
