Art Club

Art club Mondays 4 - 5pm.  

This is a special Art club for Scholars and for pupils who have been identified as Gifted and Talented Artists, from Years 7 to 9. Membership is by invitation from the Art Department.  This year pupils will learn how to use watercolours, through a series of exercises, taught and encouraged by Mrs Hislop.                                                                                                                    

The girls will then use the school grounds and buildings to inspire a watercolour piece which will be framed and hung in the Square Hall in 2008.   

Art Club Tuesdays 4 - 5pm.  

Years 7 - 13 are invited to use the Art Studios from 4 - 5pm, to continue with practical work and/or embark on a mini project of their choosing. Miss Keenleyside and Mrs Hislop are available at this time to inspire, guide and assist. 

Photography Club Wednesdays 4 - 5pm.  

During the Photography Club, Years 10 to 13 get full use of the darkroom, use the studio lighting, and learn to work in Photoshop.  Miss Keenleyside is available to assist.
