The Senior School
St Gabriel's Senior School will offer your daughter an education firmly focussed in the real world but with idealism at its heart. Our formal curriculum is broad and balanced with an extensive range of subjects on offer at GCSE, AS and A2 levels. Teacher-pupil ratios are small; academic results, excellent.
We believe that a girl can develop her gifts to the full when she feels happy and trusted in a secure, supportive and caring environment. At the heart of this philosophy is our commitment to an outstanding system of pastoral care which helps to maintain the strong bonds which exist between pupils, parents, administrative staff and teachers.
Girls are actively encouraged to take responsibility for others as well as for themselves. Senior girls help the juniors in an assortment of activities and give great partisan support to their Houses during the many and varied competitions. In the wider community, the girls share their music-making, provide a regular programme of activities for children from PALS and raise significant funds for charity.
Our girls come to school each day with growing confidence in their ability to be successful both in the classroom and within the exciting range of extra curricula activities. Our goal is to draw out your daughter's special skills and aptitudes as she moves through each stage of her education so that when she emerges it will be with assurance, poise and a love of learning which will stay with her for life.
