Science Club offers students, in years 7 and 8, the chance to explore areas of science not covered by the curriculum. The emphasis is on exploration and discovery and to nurture enthusiasm for science.
Students develop their understanding of science through hands-on interactive experiments, and experience how science works in the real world. Each week there is a specific focus on an area of science with the opportunity of carrying out plenty of practical investigations in a laboratory setting. Students have the opportunity to work closely with Sixth Form Science Prefects, and to present their idea in a Science Fair at the end of the year!
