Philosophy Club

St Gabriel's Philosophy Club is open to all Senior year groups, and encourages girls to think about the world in a different way.

We consider a wide variety of topics from free will to ideas of perception and reality as well as many current, ethical issues.  The basis of the club is lively debate, organised by the girls with the help of a stimulus, such as a film clip or newspaper article.

Girls also have the opportunity to learn about some of the key philosophers who have shaped the modern world, and hopefully develop a true love of knowledge!
