Catering
St. Gabriel's is extremely proud of its very high standard of catering, using only the freshest ingredients and cooking all main meals from scratch. The School and its caterers (Chartwells) source items locally and have fresh deliveries on a daily basis, as well as supplementing these from its home grown produce in the grounds. We have up-to-date nutrition and food hygiene inspections and our aim is to produce excellent food which aids education.
The menu for each week is shown here, and parents who have any concerns about their child's nutrition or eating are welcome to come and see for themselves at lunchtime, simply knocking on the Bursar's door to have lunch.
In addition to the main dining room, a stylish modern cafe, "Gabbies" is open all day with a wide selection of cakes, bacon sandwiches, coffee and drinks appropriate to different ages. Parents are welcome up to 9.30am and from 3.30pm - the coffee is magnificent!
