Academic Scholarships

The Award

Academic awards are honorary and are awarded by the Principal on a discretionary basis according to the performance of each candidate on the day.

Requirements for entry

Applications for 11+ and 13+ Academic Scholarship are by invitation-only from the Principal.

Girls who have done particularly well in the entrance examinations may be invited back to meet the Principal, Vice Principal and selected Heads of Department for interviews.

Scholarship Day

Candidates attend an interview with the Principal and Vice Principal, where they will be asked about their school life, interests and aptitudes.

Candidates attend lessons in Mathematics, Science and English.
