Year 1 and 2 Sports Day 2009

Another successful Sports Day for the Pre-Prep!

At 12.30 we gathered together for our picnics.  Everyone sought shade under our beautiful mature trees in the school grounds for their lunch.

We all then moved to the sports track at the front of the school.  The children put their hearts and souls into the running, jumping, crawling, skipping, throwing and balancing races.

The grand finale, the hand touch relay proved to be 'nail-biting stuff'! Both teams were neck and neck throughout the race.  What sprinters we have in the Pre-Prep!

Taking the warm temperatures into account, the children coped extremely well.  There were many proud faces to show off lots of well-earned stickers.

Tea and lollies back on the front lawn completed a happy afternoon for your Year 1 and Year 2 children and families.
