Year six spend the day in a Victorian schoolroom.
Year six spent the day as Victorian children in a ragged school being taught by a very strict Miss Brown. They quickly realised that the well known Victorian saying "children should be seen and not heard" was something that Victorian teachers firmly believed in. Two of the boys were punished severely with the cane for frightening a horse and two girls had to have thier mouths washed out with soap for using foul language in the street. We finished our day with a session of Victorian drill. We all agreed that school today was much more fun than the day in the Victorian classroom.
