Sport Relief Disco

On Friday 23 March pupils in the Junior School took to the dance floor in their droves and showed just ‘what moves them’. This hugely popular PTA event in the school calendar raised a staggering £600 for Sport Relief.

Working alongside the PTA were the Junior School Council who had organised a lucky dip sweet bag sale, with supplies kindly provided by parents. The stall ably run by the Head Boy, Max and Head girl, Niyati proved a massive hit with advanced sales rocketing before the discos even started. The Senior School Young Enterprise team were also keen to show their support to such a good cause and so donated hundreds of glow-sticks to the school council to sell at the disco. The biggest decision of the night appeared to be whether to create bunny ears, glasses or day-glow flowers! The Juniors certainly know how to have fun raising money for charity.

Thanks to PTA members, Carolyn, Helen and Sean for their help with the disco.
