A Level Results 2010

Girls at St Gabriel’s are celebrating a 100% pass rate at A level.

Principal Alun Jones said he was thrilled for his students and staff. “With 63% of the girls’ grades at A* or A, they have every reason to be over the moon!   14% of the girls’ results were at the new A* grade which is twice the National expectation.”

Particular congratulations to Charlotte Garner from Silchester and Helen Broadbridge from Cold Ash who secured their places at Oxford and Cambridge and to Catherine Armour from Burghfield Common, who achieved 2 A* and 2 A in Biology, Psychology, Chemistry and Mathematics.  Catherine plans to read Natural Sciences at Bath University.
Alun Jones said “I am so proud of every single girl’s achievement; there are many personal bests with nearly half of the year group enjoying straight A* and A. The girls have contributed so much to life at St Gabriel’s, they can move on to their chosen universities with such confidence; we wish them well”.

Visitors to St Gabriel's quickly recognise that this is no ordinary school. Parents are always impressed by the sense of purpose and enthusiasm of the talented, committed staff and the confidence of the extremely happy pupils. We offer girls the opportunity for a seamless journey from Nursery through to Sixth Form, with our boys leaving us at the at the age of 11 for their senior schools.
