FutureChef Success

Congratulations to Becky Scott who recently won the Surrey Local Final of FutureChef and has now set her sights on winning the Regional Final in February and a place at the National Final in March. She is also looking forward to working with her new mentor chef, Kelvin Johnson, Head Chef at the Winepress Restaurant, Donnington, for the remainder of her time with the FutureChef programme.

Becky impressed the judges with her combination of flavours and complexity of her dishes.  Becky says "I was ecstatic when I heard the judges' verdict that I had won!  FutureChef has been very exciting and useful for me so far.  The whole experience of testing out new dishes to cook within a time limit and in a different kitchen with the judges watching, developing new cooking skills and also seeing everyone else's dishes has been wonderful."
