Junior School at Home Feedback

It has been a challenging start to the term but the appreciative emails from parents, along with videos and photographs show how well our Junior School pupils have risen to the challenge.  These are just a few of the messages and photographs of our boys and girls embracing remote lessons and learning at home.

"Just wanted to say a huge thank you for the online learning you have provided in such a short space of time. We can't begin to imagine the amount of work that had been put in to get the school open at the start of term, and then for it to have been changed at less than 24 hours notice must have been very testing! So to provide a full timetable of online lessons by the Wednesday is incredibly impressive, and very much appreciated."

One week in and we continue to be so impressed with the St Gabriel’s provision for home learning. Please pass on our admiration and thanks to all the team.

"Thank you for all of your help this week, getting everything up and running with all of the changes.  And to all of the TA team staffing the reception house.  Both girls have come home happy and tired at the end of each day’s learning."

"A heartfelt thanks to yourself and all the staff at St G’s for the way you’ve risen to latest lockdown challenges - especially with such short notice."

"I just wanted to take the opportunity to say a massive thank you to you and the lovely TA’s for all your support throughout the week."

"Your hard work and efforts are much appreciated. We feel very lucky St Gabs have such an amazing team of people who are so passionate about their jobs and can make learning fun even in such challenging times."

"I have to say you are doing a sterling job keeping them engaged throughout the day. My colleagues at work are all very jealous that I don't need to get involved at all. Thank you for saving my sanity. You deserve a medal!"

"Many thanks for what was a very well organised and delivered response to the Government’s sudden change of plan last week, and for a smooth transition to remote learning again. We are all very grateful for the quality of lesson’s delivered under these difficult circumstances, and even the occasional glitches with technology did not prove too-disruptive."
